Jay Bouwmeester and the Florida Panthers have avoided arbitration as Jay signed a one-year extension with the club.
However, Bouwmeester's name is continously involed in trade rumours, so don't completely believe that Jay will remain a Panther before season's start.

Guillaume Latendresse an MVP?
Latendresse scored 5 goals and added 3 assists as his team defeated that of David Perron at the "A Bout de Souffle Metro Plouffe" pick-up tournament in Magog. His team won 9-4.
Latendresse was named tournament MVP. Jason Pominville was one of the star players playing on Latendresse's team.
Habs prospect Cedrick Desjardins was named goalie of the tournament.
