Pacioretty Signs Three-Year Entry Level Deal

Max Pacioretty was the standout performer at last week's development camp.

He got rewarded for it today.

Pacioretty inked a three-year deal with the Habs, and he will take part in his first training camp in September.

Pacioretty has been turning heads for quite some time now, and GM Bob Gainey has seen it all along.

'"Max Pacioretty is a young player with a lot of skills who has the potential to play in the NHL,'' Gainey said in a statement. ''We are very happy to have him under contract for years to come. We feel he is ready to make the jump to professional hockey, and we will make sure to provide him with all the resources which will benefit his long-term development as a player.''

Pacioretty was drafted by the Habs in the 1st round, 22nd overall in 2007.
